Pre-press Assistant
I worked as a pre-press assistant for Johnston Press for seven years. I was responsible for the typesetting of newspaper adverts, page layouts for advertising pages, supplements and promotions, and the output of newspaper pages to press both as CMYK negatives and plates.
I used Quark Xpress, Photohop and Illustrator, which later changed to CMS systems and Adobe InDesign.
