Catalogues & Product Communication
My duties as catalogue copywriter included liaising with the head office located in Warsaw, Poland, to execute their briefs. I would write the copy for the opening pages, the introductions for the different sections of the catalogue, and the special offer pages at the back. Oriflame rolled out 17 catalogues a year, which meant a new catalogue every three weeks. Together with art directors, I would come up with concepts and write copy to match the visuals. I would sometimes work on product launches, usually to substitute for other copywriters on holiday.
As a product communications officer, it was my job to produce promotional materials for PDFs to be distributed through the Oriflame group. I also wrote articles for Oriflame’s internal Togethernet portal, which all Oriflame markets worldwide had access to.
I later worked for the Wellness category where I developed concepts for vitamin pills and provided information to be used in a tecnhical booklet aimed at representatives who sold the products within the markets.
